Hi guys, thanks in advance for this, but i recently changed my case to an enthoo primo (amazing case btw). I was running prime95 and i noticed my idle cpu temps are a little too high. Ive got quite a bit of experience pc building, applied everything correctly to my knowledge, and double checked but this is not normal, i remember idling temps being high 20's a year ago.
Ive got a 360 rad with 3 noctuas nf-f12 pushing a xspc waterblock and a vario pump/reservoir from xspc (not the d5 the one a little lower). I also added a temp monitor for the cpu block intake showing around 27-30C.
I checked the paste looks ok, i checked the fans there is sufficient airflow coming to the top, I tilted the pc and saw that there is a good flowrate.
Any ideas, from your experience guys ? Is this normal ?
Also can someone clarify the difference between CPU temps and package temps, other than the fact that cpu temps are actually measured by the mobo (asus crosshair formula-z) ? why are package temps so low ?
