gpu for video editing advice!

stuck on the gpu for my video editing build... . im leaning towards the 4790k cpu and cannot decide which video card i need. i dont want to skimp on it, but i also dont want to buy something that wont make a difference. the computer will be used as a general home family computer as well as my gopro video editing pc. no gaming...

I will have to highly recommend the R9 290X
It does very well for price when it comes to computing, video editing and stuff like that.

However if you can afford it:
GTX 980 Ti will outperform the R9 290X when it comes to video rendering, etc. However if you are not gaming i would stick with the R9 290X.

I would recommend Sapphire Vapor X
