So I am collecting my parts as I go and I am going to get my $425 next week. I already have gotten the video card, case, hard drive. However I notice that this would barely manage to buy the remaining parts. Do you guys have any other cheaper recommendations or better ideas? Also what operating system should I get? I plan on getting windows 7 since I'm used to it but I also want to maybe get W10, should I go new or stick with the old?

Edit: I think I can re-use my optical drive and still pondering if I can reuse my old hard drive on my current computer with 500GB

Solution
The case you picked only comes with one fan so you will need to add at least one more.
If you have a SATA disc drive then reuse it the same with the hard drive that will save you some money.
I would get this case comes with 3 fans and with good looks.
This combo on the motherboard and memory would save some money (the board works I have used it a few times)

Left the hard drive and disc drive in but changed both for free shipping the disc drive you had was charging 7 bucks to ship it. Leave them off if you can reuse yours.

Stick with windows 7 for now 10 still has problems and you can upgrade for free till some time next year.
I like this better.

The memory configuration is faster, the motherboard is more robust and the HDD is cheaper.

That case only has one fan so needs to buy at least one more and the disc drive and hard drive have a total of 16 bucks shipping.
