Gtx 780 vs Amd r9 380 4g

I am planning to build a gaming pc but I do not know which card is better.
The 780 or the 380?

The GTX 780, even the GTX 770 is faster than a 380.

how are you purchasing these cards? the 780 isn't likely in stock anymore and th e r9-380 is a brand new release card.

Get a GTX 970 or a an R9 390. GTX 780 is much better than an R9 380, but at this point 780 isn't in stock enough now and is too expensive http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DIH8OOQ/?tag=pcpapi-20. For that price you could get an R9 Fury, for $150 less you could get a 390X, for $70 less you could get a GTX 980. All these cards would be better than a GTX 780 for less money.

I could buy a gtx 780 with a 3 year warranty for the same price as a new r9 380 in my country

If the 970 and the 780 are the same price I would get the 970; if the 780 is appreciably cheaper than the 970 I would get that over the 380.
