Hello,

After a long time of using Arch Linux i forgot how much of a pain Microsoft's Windows can be. When i was using Arch Linux i was always able to install or update the Nvidia Driver worry free. I decided to reinstall my laptops Windows 8.1 and among other issues i just can't seem to find or install the Nvidia gfx Drives and i know i can because i have dome it with Arch Linux don't get me started on why i ditched Linux for Windows or why i am useing a laptop atm it's a long story but i have tried many drivers and i always get that damn "no nvidia hardware found installer cannot continue" BS so if someone can help me find and install the driver for my Intel Mobile HD GFX that'd be nice and if any idiot gets on this topic like on other forums i have posted on and says "you can't" i will just delete your comment and prevent you from commenting on the post because i know i can and they are out there because i have had the drivers on my Arch Linux OS

Model of your laptop. The way you wrote your question most will answer you cant and I understand your frustration but don't get all cocky and call people stupid. Post the model of your laptop. If it only has onboard intel gpu (inside ur cpu) then NVidia drivers are not applicable that's why it says it didn't find NVidia hardware. Linux let you install whatever you like even if you don't need it windows force you to install only what you need. Do you know the name of your descrete graphics card or you have onbly the intel one. If you cant answer on these just post ur laptop name . Full name .Brand+model
