how much fps will i get on minecraft servers (such as hypixel server) with these pc specs?

A LOT of FPS. Probably 120+ FPS Max on vanilla minecraft. You could also use the shader mod on huge minecraft servers at 60+ FPS.
What I'd recommend doing is cutting down the ram from 16 to 8, because you'll never actually need 16, probably even 8.
I would also try to get an SSD with an HDD, as you'll see a HUGE performance boost opening applications and loading things (Including OS).

Actually, you might want an AMD FX-8320E or the like. But servers do not use graphics at all, they are cpu based. If you knock the 970 off you could get an i7-5820K that would wipe it out.

He's not hosting a server. He's just wondering if he can get high fps while playing Minecraft on a multiplayer server, that's it.
