can some help me get find an affordable graphics card so i can play skyrim.

i have zero knowledge in this feild. i was woundering if someone could help me find an affordable graphics card to play skyrim.

I would search for a second hand GPU starting from a GeForce GTX 570. Either two cheap cards in SLI or a more recent, less cheap card. I'd go with the latter, and later buy the same second hand GPU in SLI when performance starts to decrease significantly.

PS If you buy second hand; make sure the seller is trustworthy. Look up his buy/sell history and reviews.

I just unloaded a couple Sapphire 7870 Ghz Edition GPUs to replace with something newer. I started with just one and it ran Skyrim very well - smooth @ 1080p with everything maxed. They are running about $75 used on eBay, and still handle newer games pretty well. I played Shadows of Mordor and Alien: Isolation on one of those last fall and both ran great.

For reference, I have an i5-3570k CPU. Keep in mind that an older or weaker model CPU can be a drag on certain graphics cards.
