I had a whole bunch of viruses on my PC, so I just reinstalled windows. After I deleted my "windows.old" folder, I still only had 300 GB free. I was wondering how I can delete the rest of the files so I have have my 1 TB free again.

Why did you delete windows. old.

If you are not bothered about the data that is currently on the drive and wish to wipe it all.
It`s a simple case, of putting your boot able windows Dvd disk in your dvd drive of your system and booting off it.
And then run windows install set up.

When you get to the part where, or what drive you wish to install windows to.
Instead of clicking next. Click on advanced drive options.
Select the 1Tb drive and then click format to get all of the storage capacity back or about 931 Gb of free space after you format the drive.
If you have two partitions on the drive first delete or format the second partition.
And then delete and format the first partition of the drive.
Click on new and it will ask you what you want the drive to be or partition in storage space set it to 931Gb in size press enter and format the new created primary partition of the drive.

Like said you do this via the windows 7, 8 or 10 install and set up dvd of the os you wish to install under advanced drive options in blue writing, at the point where it asks you what drive you wish to install windows to.
