intel i3 2100 or core2duo e8500

hi,
im thinkin of swapping my core2duo e8500 with 8gb of ram with an intel i3-2100 and 16gb of ram,,,,,i have at home.
which would give me the greatest satisfaction???
what do you guys think??

I personally would want all matched RAM. IMHO 16GB isn't really necessary unless you're really spanking your machine doing lots of video compression or have dozens of active web pages open at the same time. For games, 16GB vs 8GB and even probably VS 4GB won't make a noticeable difference. The again, RAM is not really expensive compared to a CPU, decent ATX board or decent GFX card......

the ram i plan to use says 1.65v,,,,,my old ram says 1.5v,,,,,does the 1.65v have any compatibility issues?
i mean,,can i use the old ram(4gb)1.5 A N D the new ram (4gb)1.65v???? is there any problem here?
