Does the MSI B85M-G43 motherboard work with the Core i3 4160 out of the box?

Hello.

I've been looking to build my first PC, and decided to go with a Core i3 4160 CPU and a GTX 960 GPU. However, I wasn't able to buy the motherboard overseas, and my choices are limited to the Indian market, which is where I live.

Since this is my first PC build, I don't have another CPU with which I can update the BIOS, and would like to avoid purchasing a cheap CPU like a Celeron G1820 just to update the BIOS.

Does the aforementioned board (MSI B85M-G43) work with the Core i3 4160 without a BIOS update?

Just a word of advice, I once chanced it and bought an MSI H81 online and it ended up needing a BIOS update. I had no way of updating it without another compatible CPU. So it had to go back which took forever. It turns out the board was manufactured almost 2 years before I got it, So I returned it and purchased a H97 on Amazon. If you can avoid getting one, do it in your situation. Unless you have a friend or computer shop nearby to help you update it? Just be ready to have a back up plan if its needs an update!
