I need help finding a graphics card for my pc that can work

Hi
I would like some help finding a better graphics card currently I'm running a:
Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU E5400 @2.70GHz
4GB ram
64bit windows 7
nvidia geforce 7300 GS

as you can see its a pretty bad pc...But i would like for someone to let me know what is the highest graphics card i can get that is compatible with my PC before it bottlenecks...I would prefer a ATI sense they are the cheapest but i am not sure so please reply and say if you need any more info..

would you maybe give a wider aray of the graphics card such as it make and stuff
and btw it has been brought to my attention that graphics card ram is kinda qorth nothing so maybe someone can give a solution with a simple 512MB card
and one that is supported by ddr2 ram and also price matters alot so please keep in mind

Graphics RAM is very important if you want to play newer games or anything on the more demanding side.There is no issue with DDR2 RAM and GDDR5 RAM, as they are two separate entities. if price is an issue, then you can get a gtx 750, it is only around $80-90. if you are really tight on money which is understandable, then go for a Gt 740 or gt 640. anything lower is not really worth it,

what are you using this card for?
