Doing computer build and i have settled on most of the components, my main consern currently is the case, powersupply and the motherboard. im open to suggestions on the other major components as well.

My main consern with the power supply is if its powerfull enough to sustain a gaming keyboard a gaming mouse along with the other components.

The case i've read is not super big on case fans so i would like to know if the airflow is good enough. Im mainly looking for a quiet case but i dont want to go down on airflow as the cpu should get decently hot and not sporting watercooling might cost abit in terms of heat. I'm not using watercooling because im not intending on overclocking the cpu super hard if at all. and i want to eliminate as much noise as possible from the system.

my issue with the motherboard is that im not sure how long its going to sustain me for both in terms of lifetime and how easy it is to upgrade and compatibility with potential upgrades. If have any sort of opinion of how long it will last before future components are no longer compatible with it.

Theese are the components i have currently selected

Processor:
Intel Core i7-4790K - 4 GHz
CPU cooler:
Cooler Master Hyper 412S
Motherboard:
Asus Z97-P
Ram:
Kingston HyperX Fury DDR3-1866 DC - 16GB (2x8GB)
Graphics card:
Asus GeForce GTX 970 Strix - 4GB GDDR5
Harddisk 1:
Samsung 850 EVO SSD - 120GB
Harddisk 2:
Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 - 2TB
Case:
Fractal Design Define R4 - Black Pearl
Powersupply:
Corsair RM550 (Modular) - 80plus Gold - 550W PSU
Trådløs netkort:
TP-Link TL-WDN4800 Wireless N Dual Band - 450Mbps

Any help/suggestions you have are very appriciated
Thanks for your help :)

keyboard and mice use negligible amounts of power
And your system will only use upwards of 400Ws.
That leaves plenty of extra for anything else.
Watercooling is usually quieter than air cooling.
The cpu is basically the best one you can buy for the socket so there's no reason to upgrade the motherboard, if you do you'd have to get a new CPU as well. The motherboard will last as long as your CPU unless you break it.
You can always add more fans to the case if you want as well.

Alright sticking with that motherboard, like you said it makes a lot of sense seeing the fact that i have high end components that will last me a good while:)

was in checking noice levels on watercooling and this fan cooler only ammounts to about 16-22 Decibel where as a watercooler maxes out at about 30-35. So im sticking with the current cooler, i am right on the edge of my budget as well so cant really afford to amp up on alot of smaller components :/ but thanks for the advice, will take that into consideration

Edit
Just came off a conversation with a guy trying to convince me to upgrade to the new 6700K skylake CPU and i kinda see what he is on about. The 4790K will last me a long time and its basically the same CPU with abit higher overclock but the issue is if i have to upgrade at some point. With the 1150 socket slowly being outdated as the skylake develops the question is

Sacrifice 8GB of ram to be able to afford the skylake and the Asus Z170-P motherboard to ensure that it will endure when i finally get around to upgrading in a few years time. Or save abit of money and hope the 4790K will last me untill i would want to build a brand new desktop again. In denmark parts are abit more expensive so the price difference between the 2 options will be:
Note that the dollar is high compared to the danish krone and everything is a tad more expensive here, this is about as cheap as you can build it here (Note, all other components are the same)

6700K skylake + Kingston HyperX Fury DDR4-2666 DCl - 8GB + Asus Z170 is 11.636,00 kr. (1730,59$)

4790K + Kingston HyperX Fury DDR3-1866 DC - 16GB + Asus Z97-P is 11090,00 kr. (1649,39$)

So the price difference is not massive but its right on the edge of my budget. Any suggestions?

You can still stream just fine with only 8gbs, just don't try to record it at the same time. (except super ram heavy games like GTA5)
And maybe just get a 1 TB hard drive to cutback on costs.
And the stock fan is usually fine as well if you're not going to overclock.

Most CPU fans are actually so quite you can't really hear them, even 30 DB is pretty quiet in reality.

I did actually consider cutting back on the harddrive but the 2 TB harddisk is one im intending on buying is on sale, it costs the same as a 1 TB drive with the same RPM. So i'm not saving a whole lot, plus storage space is always nice to have even though fitting an extra harddrive is not the hardest thing in the world. Was my same thought with the Ram. I will for sure upgrade a month or 2 after the build when i have the money, and its the cheapest DDR4 ram compatible with the motherboard i can get my hands on. Its all a matter of cost right now. and im not saving a whole lot by buying 16 GB of ram now so im going to upgrade that later.

but yea thanks for the advice, going to stick with the air cooler :)
