Hi, I'm not really asking question.
I've been having problem with The Witcher 3 for the past few days and can't really find any solution.
So I just wanna share some experience
I've installed The Witcher 3 for a month. Last Saturday, I upgraded my Nvidia Driver to version 355.60 August 13, 2015
Did not test my games straight away and the next day, after starting my pc, the next thing pop up was:
"WINDOWS DESKTOP MANAGER STOPPED WORKING" with error log showing "Faulting application name: Dwm.exe"
Yeah the dwm.exe mainly for the Aero thingy on my Windows 7 (and I hate when things not working). Nothing fixed the desktop windows manager- Even the command SFC/SCANNOW prove futile
When I tried to run The Witcher 3 from Steam, the game wouldn't launch and keep showing 'syncing'
Tried to verify the integrity of the local content- nothing works
How silly of me not thinking to revert the NVIDIA driver to the old version. So after re-installing the old version: http://www.nvidia.com/Download/Find.aspx?lang=en-us (Version 353.62 July 29, 2015) everything is back to normal
This even fixed the desktop windows manager too. Just trying to help, the link is up there. I've realized that I've been too angry with the game, cheers!
