Hi there.

I am planning to build a new computer using AMD FX-6300 processor and ASRock 970M PRO3 Micro ATX AM3+/AM3 Motherboard.

My current computer model is Gateway DX-4822.

I was wondering if I can use this old case for the new computer. Any help/suggestion is appreciated.

Your stock motherboard is mATX size: 9.6 × 9.6 in (244 × 244 mm) which is the maximum width for a mATX motherboard, so any mATX should fit.

The only possible issue may be the front panel wiring.. and only if they are in a multiwire connector. But even that can be easily done with a needle or pin to extract the wires to rearrange them.

I am planning to buy the mobo online, so I can't really check to see if it fits. And none of stores in my area carry this particular mobo.
