Hi. I'm looking for the above for a Dell XPS 430 desktop PC (eight years old) with an Intel Core 2 Quad Processor Q9400 (2.66GHz, 6MB, 1333MHz). PSU is 425W.
Having just installed Windows 10, I find that it doesn't support the ATI drivers any longer, though if the posts on IT forums are to be believed, this is probably more to do with ATI's reluctance to invest man hours in writing new code for legacy product drivers. Whatever. There are countless GPUs out there, but I haven't a clue which might be supported by the XPS 430 motherboard/PSU (the latter being 425W). I'm not looking for a card that will support hard-core gaming, but rather something robust enough for image processing (Lightroom/Photoshop), and which offers a modest improvement in performance over the current card. Would be mighty pleased if you could help, or at least point me in the right direction! Thanks in anticipation!
