HI there, Im working on my very first build and i am wondering if it is capable of playing games at the settings i want them to be at.

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/kGJdQ7

I would like to play the latest call of duty games such as Advanced warfare and the upcoming blackops 3 at 1080p ultra at a steady 60fps.

im also gonna play other games such as the upcoming battlefront and gta v

Only thing I would change then would be either an R9 390 or a GTX 970 instead of the 960, just in case you want to play something more demanding, but the CoD games are not that demanding and the 960 benches well on AW https://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/EVGA/GTX_960_SSC_ACX_Cooler/13.html. It's one of the few games where it beats the R9 380.

A lot better, $11 more.

Got a cheaper CPU with a cheaper mobo that will perform about the same. With the lessened total price, I added a GTX 970, better ram, better PSU (quality) and a better Wifi adapter

Still think you could do better with the wifi adapter.

As long as the signal is present and connected, it will not matter the quality of the card, because the card does NOT affect speed. Sure, wireless always is a bit slower than wired, but its not because of the card itself. Agree that lower end ones tend to drop signal, but this will do just fine as long as he is somewhat close to the router or doesnt have concrete walls.

Yeah that's probably true, I try to spend as much on my networking equipment as possible as a general rule of thumb.
