I bought my pc from a store a few weeks ago and was thinking about upgrading to a gtx 970, however one of those slots for the dual slot connection at the back of the case is blocked by the connector for a wifi adapter that came with the pc, the adapter it self sits on top of the tower but its cable screws into a gold plate blocking the slot when i open the case the plate dosent actually seem to be connected to the motherboard or anything. the pc is an asus m32 bf. do i need to buy a new case or...

also ill try and add pictures later

I see you manged to get the pictures.

It is very hard to see but the wires you have in this photo that go from this connector plate to the motherboard are they long enough to allow you to move the connection. You would only have to move it over 1 slot. They do sell longer cables but they are kinda expensive since they are actually microwave rated coax

yeah there's enough wire to move it but the plate is attached to the case by a screw that's completely unreachable
