Ok ive built my own pc and am very proud my first one ive got a Zalman Tower with a ASrock Z77 extreme 4 mb a Nvidia GeForce 7800 GTX graphics card , Creative SB Audigy 2 ZS (WDM) with a intel core i3 3.40GHZ 16 gb of Ram all fan spaces filled up with neons :) three hard disks and two Corsair SSD . So my question is this i want to upgrade or get another Nvidia graphics card but am unsure as to which one to get as all the ones i have looked at seem to have a different PCI fitting to the one i already have both on the card and on my MB the same also applys to my sound card . i will also be getting some more ram as well to add to the two i already have . Any help would be greatly appreciated

Any PCIexpress video card will do, the version is irrelevant.

whats your budget?
for the i3 I would suggest a gtx960

more than 16GB are unnecessary for gaming, you should consider a better CPU, e.g. I5-4xxxx, before thinking about upgrading RAM
then I would suggest a gtx970

which power supply do you have exactly? brand and model

Hi helpstar

Cheers for the help my psu is a Corsair 750 watt ive kind of gone a little overboard on certain things as just wanted to make sure my desktop had enough of everything to last i was kinda thinking longevity if you get what i mean Also i dont just use my pc for gaming its for the whole family but im the admin so my wife uses it for photos and work i use it for gaming and work and my lil girl use it for school home work . As for my budget i dont know yet im waiting to get some money in but have been thinking about upgrading my processor as well. The only reason i asked about the graphics card and sound card is because the connections seem different that go into the mb so was just worried that if i go out and buy a new one it wont fit
