I'm currently doing a project for school, game particle effects to be specific. The target platform is PC with ridiculous specs as low as
⦁ 1GHz Processor
⦁ 256MB RAM
⦁ 3D Accelerator Card with Direct3D 9.0 support, 128MB on board video ram, hardware transformation and lighting support.

How do I find a game with effects like fire, smoke, heat, moving water, snow and rain etc under these restricted system requirements. The point of my project is to use a game with these specs, take screen shots, research the effects in the game and create my own effects for the game development of the targeted identical platform with the same unreasonable specification requirements.
