Hey, I want to build a computer suitable for video editing, graphic design, and games. It does not need to be extremely good considering I can only spend a maximum of £630 - £640 but definitely no higher.

I do not need an OS or any peripherals. I wanted an SSD but I have decided to leave that out and get it another time when I save up more money.

This is what I have came up with but I don't know if its actually any good:

Any advice would be amazing,
Thanks for reading! :)

EDIT: Also I was hoping to get an ATX form factor, not a Micro ^^

Solution
Xeon is the same CHIP as i7 the only difference is that it doesnt have IGPU.
You can fit GTX 970 if you change you case to Zalman Z3 PLUS, yes it not as good case as R5 and it wont be as quiet, but it has good airflow. You get 4 pre-installed fans with Zalman z3 PLUS and you will be ablt to afford GTX 970

But if you dont want to change the case, that build looks great

the Xeon X3 is basically an I7 without the IGP, and no overclocking, so ...
a 4 core/8 thread CPU.
16 GB ram
SSD + 1 TB HDD
960 GPU

should be great at gaming @1920x1080 (high or ultra depending on game), and adequate at graphic design (compared to a workstation card, which would be the other way around and about double the price)

What about storage do you already have HDD ?

Anyway for you needs and yours £640 budget i would ge this

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: Intel Xeon E3-1230 V3 3.3GHz Quad-Core Processor (£176.34 @ Aria PC)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z97P-D3 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard (£58.52 @ Amazon UK)
Memory: Kingston Savage 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory (£35.77 @ Ebuyer)
Storage: OCZ ARC 100 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive (£43.34 @ Scan.co.uk)
Video Card: Zotac GeForce GTX 970 4GB Video Card (£238.99 @ Aria PC)
Case: Zalman Z3 Plus ATX Mid Tower Case (£25.29 @ Amazon UK)

Sorry guys I forgot to say I dont need any storage as I have a HDD. I wanted to get an SSD as I've never had one but could not fit it into the budget. I think I would rather have an i7 and a reasonable GPU rather than an SSD so I left it out my list. I can always buy an SSD another time.

No I dont need a HDD sorry for not being clear. I like the list but not sure about the CPU. I think that PSU maybe better then the "be quiet!" one in my list which seems more popular of a choice with better ratings.

Oh my mistake, I dont know much about computer components and never looked into Intel Xeon. I had no idea that was an i7

still can't decide between i7 and this Xeon which I have no experience with. I hope its still good for video editing :)
I may get the cooler at a later date since I don't have the money for it right now but I was told I should get one. But that might be due to me going for that i7 originally. Not sure if that Xeon needs one.

Really want that Fractal R5 case though :)

OCZ ARC 100 perfroms about the same as mx100 and it costs less, or you can spend a bit more and get Samsung 850 EVO

You also dont need Aftermarket CPU cooler, stock will be fine with XEON

And if you are getting GTX 960, you can get a cheaper 450w XFX PSU

But if you decide to go with GTX 970 keep the 550w XFX

Here you can see what is the difference in games between GTX 960 and GTX 970

I would love a 970 GTX but I cannot fit it into my budget sadly. Thanks for the advice. I'm just worried that the Xeon will not be as good. Wondering if its worth not getting the SSD just now and going for this instead:

Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor
