Hello,

This is going to be my second question regarding my rig. I have a complicated question about overclocking so please bear with me.
What happened was when I was building my computer, my graphics card (gtx 980 SC) was defective and would crash in games most of the time. What I did was I installed MSI afterburner to tweak voltage settings and see if that would help. Turns out it did NOT so I RMAed my card. After RMA, they sent me a new card and I installed it. However, I did a mistake by uninstalling MSI afterburner after installing NEW card (I should have reseted the MSI afterburner settings then install the new card). Did my overclock settings transfer to the new card? I dont want them to. I want the card to be original since it works flawlessly. I reinstalled MSI afterburner and see if it is clocked or something, this is what I saw (look at the picture below)

Do you think voltage and clock settings transfered to the new card? Would it show on MSI afterburner if it did? Please enlighten me on this.

Thanks

First of all, how should we know what clocks the card is supposed to run at? You do.
2nd, fire up a game, the clocks will not go up if you are at desktop. Card's in idle state.
Go to makers website and check what clocks should be or read the box the card came in.

I'm hungry and angry.

Anyway, MSI AB has a Reset button, try that if you are worried. It's in your picture, the round spinning arrow-whatever.
