Hey all,

Since Skylake just got released... and I have waited for this release to go Intel from my FX 8350..
I'm going to be doing a full convert to intel. Budget for a Mobo is $170.

I understand there is little info on these motherboards since they just got released... But maybe anyone can shed some light on it... I have found a couple motherboards I find appealing.

MSI Krait: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130868&cm_re=msi_krait-_-13-130-868-_-Product

Asus: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813132566

Any opinions? Any differences on going with the Asus vs the MSI?

Solution
Asus is more optimized for work stuff and auto overclocking. While the krait is designed more for gaming. Both are equal, choose the one you like the most.

Ahh, thank you.

I just read the only review on the board on newegg, and it says the krait's placement on the sata connections will be blocked if you have a 2nd gpu.. Think that will actually happen? I'm not planning on getting a 2nd gpu.. but.. "just in case".

And thank you madchemist, I'll consider that one aswell. :D
