Dear Toms Hardware,

I am a console user trying his best to convert into a PC Gamer. As a console gamer, I've never had to use sites like this ever so I have no experience in this site at all. I wanted to know if NewEgg.com was a site that I could trust to get my parts from?

They are a vendor. You cannot trust them when they "recommend" products. Their goal is not to give you advice but to make profit and they will conduct themselves accordingly.

But as far as product quality goes, that is up to what they receive from the manufacturer or how carefully it is treated during the shipping process.

Should you not know what parts to buy, then that is something left to professionals (us) on Tom's Hardware or similar sites. We can give you a list of components that will be the most efficient for the task at hand for the budget you've got.
