i wouldn't risk it with 850 psu. i would go with evga g2 1600w it sounds overkill. but its safer you dont want to ruin 1500$ graphics card

The 1300W PSU should be plenty. What are you're other system specs? I don't know what you're trying to run with 3 980ti's just remember that 3 way SLI scaling isn't very good.

Ya with 4k 2 980ti's is sufficient. I would go for a nice 1000W gold or platinum PSU. You could probably get away with 850 but with 1000 you have room to overclock and a little extra.

As long as its the GS or G2 series you're good. There's only a small difference in efficiency between Gold and Platinum. The EVGA G1 series is sufficient but the GS and G2 are better quality.
