After hours upon hours of scouring the internet I'm officially lost. I usually don't go to forums unless I'm at an absolute loss so here it is.

I have 2 micro 16gb sd cards both of which are write protected. I use them in my gopro and they both worked for putting files on there until it became full.

I've tried everything I could find through google. I tried the registry editor although the final part where you go to the storage file just isn't there? So I can't change the value to 0.. I tried two different computers.

The command prompt doesn't work either, and no I don't have the adapter. Tell me I'm wrong but I can't imagine the adapter is going to matter?

This is the best forum I know of so I'm hoping for any help.

You're wrong - the adapter does matter. There is a small switch on the side of the adapter that sets lock on the micro card. Without that switch you can't unlock the card. Time for a quick trip to Walmart to pick up a cheap card that comes with an adapter.
