I just came back after a vacation, 8 days and i plugged my pc up, and when i try to run games that ran perfectly before, i cannot play because of bad frame rate.

i tried fur mark and it really lags i don't even get a video in the stress test its just some photos because of low fps.

i tried to monitor the GPU performance using afterburner but i cant really understand anything there.. if anyone could guide me.

i just cleaned the PC from dust a week ago so it's very clean and i updated the latest drivers and it didn't help.

my specs are:
Processor: Intel Quad Core i7 4790 3.6Ghz S1150
Mother-board: Gigabyte GA-H97M-HD3 S1150
Random-access memory: 8GB kingston DDR3 1600Mhz
Graphics card: GeForce Gigabyte GTX970 4GB WF3
Solid-State drive: Kingston 240g Sata3 V300
Hard-disk drive: Seagate 1T 3.5" Sata3 Barracuda 3 Years Warranty
Case: NZXT Phantom 410 Black
Power supply: Seasonic 750W
Cooling: Cooler Master Hyper 103

Here's an update, i just managed to see that the gpu renderer is using the onboard graphics card and not the gtx 970, probably reset it self because i unplugged the pc when i went to the vacation

Here's a picture from the furmark result - 3 fps on 1080p and you can see in the renderer it says the intel card and not the geforece gigabyte.

so.. how do i choose which card it uses?

Well The problem was i connected the display monitor wrongly, to the intel card port instead of to the gtx card port.. that resolved my problem. well i am after a long flight.. guess im gonna get some sleep. who ever gets into my situation. this stupid misteak might just fix your problem.
