This may be a double post... I hit publish and it brought me back to this blank screen...

Thanks to a user who helped me pick the evga gtx 970 FTW ACX 2.0 (over the gtx 970 SSC ACX 2.0+)!!
now ill be needing a new PSU. ive looked over the tier list over and over and I have no idea what I want. Im hoping to spend between 50-80 for a tier 1 or 2 (unless I only need a tier 3).

I know ill need 500w+, and I semi modular would be nice because I only have 1 SSD and 1 HDD and do not intend on adding any. And the FTW uses what looks like 2 6 pin connections.
No idea about rail voltages or anything like that....

Can someone please toss me a link or even a model to a power supply I can use?
thank you very much!!!

was considering potentially :
the seasonic s12II 620W

or the 520W version
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151094&cm_re=seasonic-_-17-151-096-_-Product

my thinking would be the 620 would run cooler than the 500 when running the gtx 970

Solution
Antec HCG is made by SeaSonic, you can't go wrong with it. If difference in the price is negligible for you, Antec is the way to go, imo.
What are the specs of the stock PSU?

ohhhh ok. then il go with that one.
the OEM PSU is 460 w, not sure the rest of the specs. I know some people are ok with running a gtx 970 on it. when I call newegg, if they can get me a deal on the antec, ill get it, if not il just get the 970 and see if i run into issues i guess?

Xemko

Admirable
Well, i would just get a quality 500w+ unit.
That is 460 Watt OEM PSU made by Delta Electronics. It has a maximum combined +12V current rating of 32 Amps and has two 6-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors.
I wouldn't run i7 + 970 gtx system on it, even though theoretically it might be enough. (low quality unit / you will be pushing it to the edge).
See - http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/nvidia_geforce_gtx_970_and_980_reference_review,7.html .
GeForce GTX 970 - On your average system the card requires you to have a 500 Watt power supply unit.
