I bought some RAM for my wife's PC in 2014 and apparently I can't find it in stock for cheaper than 75 dollars which is outrageous for 8GB of RAM if you ask me... So my question:

Any DDR3 with similar latency/timing?
I have never mismatched RAM really, as I've always bought the same make/model, so this is something new to me.
