Hello.
I want to upgrade my laptop HP DV6 1170eo.
I have this cpu http://goo.gl/XEA4Y - Turion RM-75, but its pretty weak one, so i want to upgrade it, to Turion ultra ZM-86 http://goo.gl/jzN0ip. Even doe difference aint huge, but thas fairly cheap upgrade, for upgrade from 1000pts to 1250 pts (cpu-benchmark page)
So, my question - will ZM-86 fit on my motherboard?
Both cpu has same socket S1g2 and same 638-pin lidless micro-PGA and support same memory.

Whetehr the upgrade will work depends on the system's bios's ability to support the chip. If that laptop was available with that CPU then it will definitely work, that said there is still a good chance it will work anyway. I just looked at the manual for this PC and it appears it did come with the ZM-86 so you should be ok.

Now that said I hope you are not spending too much for this upgrade or expecting too much of a performance increase. It will be faster yes, but not a monster difference , or the difference between playing a game like GTA V and not. Just want to make sure you know what to expect.
