Final Choice For Z97 Motherboard Gigabyte or Asrock?

Not sure if you're in the u.s. or not or what your prices are locally. If you're looking at u.s. prices, why not consider the gigabyte gaming 5? It's a better motherboard than either of those and right now with a newegg promo it's cheaper than the gaming 3.

In that case probably the gaming 3. Going lower and lower in budget isn't going to help much concerning overclocking and stability as the cheaper the boards, the lower cost of the design. Lower number of power phases, chokes etc. Stable and overclocking are performance features and the more performance or quality parts and design the more it's going to cost. The gaming 3 should still do decent for overclocking.
