System:
Asus Rampage Black IV
Intel i7 3960x
CORSAIR Vengeance 64GB (8 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)
EVGA 780ti SC running in SLI x2
Samsung EVO 1TB SSD
Western Digital Enterprise 3TB HDD
Corsair AX1200 Power Supply

System randomly freezes. At first it would just lose power to my USB ports (Mouse and Keyboard lights would go out). Would work fine in safemode+networking. Now it just randomly freezes and lights on the Keyboard and Mouse will stay lit. It froze at one point during the re-install of windows (I was on the screen where I was selecting which partition to install windows). It can freeze while browsing the web. Or during gameplay. I have alot of temp monitoring software / hardware and my system is liquid cooled. No issues with temps.

I thought it was perhaps the bios conflicting with newer drivers perhaps. I updated the bios. Still happens.

I thought perhaps it was the GPU's. I am running 3x Asus 27" 3D monitors. I checked and updated all drivers. Checked power. They seem to be fine. I unplug 2 monitors and went with one. Still happens.

I thought perhaps it might be a conflict with USB controllers (this was when it was dropping power to USB's) so I disabled and re-installed USB drivers / controllers. Still happens.

I also went into power management and ensured it was not set to limit power or shut of power to USB's or anything else for that matter.

I thought perhaps it was the SSD. But then it froze post system format during the selection of which drive to install windows on. So I scratched that off the list.

Additionally, I disabled the HDD on some chance it was because the HDD couldn't keep up with the SSD sharing files. Still happens.

Re-checked all connections within the computer. Everything is snug as a bug.

I'm left with thinking that it is either the PSU / RAM or MOBO. Does anyone have a clue as to perhaps what this could be? I am trying to avoid a trip to microcenter and buying new ram and psu to trouble shoot. But as all of us must do. We must do what we must do ;)

Its crystal clean. This is all housed in a COSMOS2. Has built in dust filters. Also, I periodically clean it. 4 Noctuas in push pull. Not that it helps with performance of cooling but I've found that since the case is nearly dustproof it does keep the rad clean and clear.
