Hello, longtime lurker and new member of Tom's Hardware. Excited to finally join. Right to business......so I currently use an HP p6230y desktop computer. I want to use it for mild gaming and video editing. From my understanding, based on its specs it should be capable of decent gaming/editing performance for most current games, with the appropriate upgrades. My focus is on power supply and GPU. I am requesting suggestions on a affordable, decent power supply and GPU pair to work in conjunction with the rest of the computer. Furthermore, I would like confirmation that I am correct in the belief that my system should work fairly well with modern day games with the appropriate upgrades. Lastly, I'd like to know of some decent cooling solutions for the system. Note that my first ever build is in the works. Thanks!
