Hello all,

I am planning to upgrade my computer's RAM memory and I've done some research.
I also read the stickies of the forum, they are really helpful! With it I've reduced the number of questions.

I just want to make sure that these memory modules (HyperX HX316C10FBK2/16 (2 x 8GB))
DDR3-1600 CL10 SDRAM :
http://www.kingston.com/dataSheets/HX316C10FBK2_16.pdf

are compatible with my motherboard (Pegatron 2AB6):
http://h20566.www2.hp.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=emr_na-c02668523

Everything seems alright except the part where the motherboard says :
"Supports PC3-10600 (DDR3-1333)"
and the memory modules are DDR3-1600.

From what I understand, it means that I won't be getting the maximum of the speed offered, but will it still work?

And if I am correct, the best setup with this will be using 2 modules of 8GB and leave 2 slots empty. Am I correct?

More context :
I currently have 4 memory modules of 2GB each, totaling 8GB with these specifications :
DRAM Frequency 665.2 MHz
CAS# Latency (CL) 9 clocks
RAS# to CAS# Delay (tRCD) 9 clocks
RAS# Precharge (tRP) 9 clocks
Cycle Time (tRAS) 24 clocks

I want to upgrade to 16GB, because I am using some production software that use a lot of memory, I often facing the message box saying "insufficient memory...".

Many thanks in advance,

StreamFire

Thank you very much for your reply,

As I am trying to get feedback from many sources, I contacted Kingston and I got a reply that is rather worrying for me.

Thank you for contacting Kingston Technology.

Based on the information of your motherboard you provided our R&D department suggest the following memory: 4 X KTH9600BS/4G

You computer is not compatible with our HyperX memories, because is not an overclocking motherboard.

Please note that this part number has not been tested directly on your motherboard and therefore we are unable to guarantee 100% compatibility.

However, it is compatible with the specifications of your system.

What do you think?

Thanks again,
