Whenever I start my computer from a cold boot, I would have an motherboard code 04 or D4 and my front and back USB 3.0 ports won't work with flash drives. However, when plugging my keyboard and mouse on the usb 3.0 ports, they would work. I guess there is something about the storage controller that is not working.

To get around this, I would need to restart the computer from windows, and I would get an A0 code where my USB 3.0 ports would work. I guess this A0 code is the "no error" code.

Anyone of you guys have encountered this kind of problem? Thanks in advance!
Code:

check for bent pin or io shield short. most usb errors are caused from devices pulling more power at power up then the usb ports can output. also in the usb settings in the bios try setting the ports to full on sometime the usb handoff can cause boot issues.

the problem is solved when reboot, I think it won't be a problem regarding bent pins. I just don't know what software or driver or bios setting needs to be turned on/off. I'll try to check on this USB handoff.
