I just received my new pre-built case (specs at bottom of post).

The graphics card is a Gainward GTX 970 and there seems to be something funky with it. When playing some games the screen starts to flicker with horizontal lines (covering the screen from left to right).

I am most certain that it is a graphics card issue. I do not notice it when trying to play Civilization V, but it occurs when playing Counter Strike: Global Offensive. It also does not occur when I am not in a game, or watching a video. When I, in CS:GO, lock the FPS rate to 60 i see less flickering, but it doesn't entirely go away. It starts to flicker alot when GPU usage is at around 30-35 %. It never goes over 45 % when playing CS:GO without locked FPS. The temperature went up to 58 C a few times but mostly stay at ~50. 45 % and 50 C seem too low to be causing these problems, right?

When I try to grab a screen shot or record, the flickering cannot be seen in the footage.

I have tried different screen cables and screens without effect.

Nvidia tells me that the latest drivers are installed.

When I opened the case I didn't see anything hanging losely or anything. Then again I'm probably not tech savvy enough to know what to look for.
