Is this a good enough system?

I have an amd 6300 with 8gb of RAM and a 1TB hard drive. I am planning to get the GTX 970 MSI in two weeks, would I be able to play all the new games on ultra with decent fps? (50 - 70)

There are a ton of graphics options in GTAV. He doesn't have them ALL cranked up if he's playing it on a lesser card than a 970, but he might have a few of them pretty high. Even the 970 can't handle full detail in that game.

Yes, the FX CPUs respond very well to an OC in GTAV.

My friend has a lower gnu and the same cpu and he says he can play GTA on full graphics and still get 45 - 55. And my gnu would be better, so I may just have to overclock my cpu?

So it will be able to play it on very good graphics? I am not too worried of maxing out a game all the time.
