Hello.
My PC crashes whenever I try to load a CS:GO map (It crashes at random during the loading screen) or if I open World of Warcraft (It instantly shuts down when the login menu pops up.) I've recently upgraded my GPU to an R9 380 but the problem was also there before the upgrade.
It can also happen from time to time if I'm watching a film and try to jump to specific points, though that problem seems to have dissipated somewhat.
My current specs are as follows:
Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit
CPU: i7 930 @ 280Ghz
RAM: 6GB DDR 3
Motherboard: X58A-UD3R
Storage: 931GB Western Digital HDD and 59GB KINGSTON SSD
GPU: R9 380 2GB
PSU: An old 750W that I can't remember the manufacturer of. It may even be a crappy brand/manufacturer.
I've tried stresstesting the CPU and Memory through Prime95 and Memtest respectively and had no errors, crashes or any other kind of problems while doing so.
Could the problem simply be that my PSU is becoming too old or failing?
