I have a 500GB HDD with 2 partitions, one has Win7, the main one has Win10. What should I do in order to boot WinXP as well on the same HDD? The last time I tried this I had to format my HDD as a result, that's why I'm afraid to do it again. What exactly should I do?

You have to have each OS on its own partition.

So you will need to use easus partition software to shrink one of your partitions and then create a new one for XP.

The other problem you are going to run into though is that your hard drive is likely setup as GPT now that it has windows 10 on it; windows XP only works with MBR as it has no native support for booting a GPT disk.

In all reality you will need a separate hard drive to have windows 8 or 10 AND windows XP on the same computer.

Is there a way for me to determine which system my HDD is setup as(GPT or MBR)?
