I'm doing a gaming build to run latest games on high/ultra settings.

On compatibility issues it says "The Corsair Dominator Platinum 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-2400 Memory operating voltage of 1.65V exceeds the Intel Haswell Refresh CPU recommended maximum of 1.5V+5% (1.575V)."
Was wondering if that could cause a problem, do I have to choose another cpu or slower ram?
I really do not know what this means or how It can affect me.
I am choosing that RAM because it was recommended to me by my cousin who said 'Your cpu is only as good as your RAM'. so I went for top quality RAM and CPU.
I would also appreciate any monitor recommendations, preferably 144 hz, thanks!

You'll be fine. Things to note

1.) PCPP says that because the nominal voltage allocated isn't sufficient for the memory clockrate. Up the voltage in BIOS and you'll be fine.

2.) Your processor is the backbone of the computer. Your memory speed takes control of precious few things, most notable being video editing or working in tandem with an APU.
