Hello, so my cpu is overheating the moment i start the computer 10 min in and it's about 81 degrees celsius but it just stops there i can have a normal gaming session for about lets say 4 hours and the temperature just stops at abou 79-82 degrees...
My build is:
CPU: AMD Phenom II x6 1055t
Mobo: Asus M4A89GTD-Pro
Video card: Sapphire R9 280x Dual-x OC
Power Supply: Energon 650W (I know it's low but it will have to do for the next 2-3 months)
I've been getting this problem since 5 months back but I haven't really looked into it as it didn't affect my games as much. I've changed the Thermal paste yesterday but it didn't help much and today i cleaned up the fan, which only helped with the noise reduction but not with the cooling, after I cleaned the fan today CPUID HWmonitor stopped detecting my cpu temp. If anyone has some idea on how i can lower my temp or from where this problem might be happening I would be really greatful.
PS: Sorry for the bad English :/
I'm using the stock cooler for the cpu

Hi, Just to clarify, you are getting 81 degrees while idling?

Obviously you have redone the thermal paste, but which thermal paste did you use and how much did you use? too much makes things worse.

If your temperature sensor is not responding it can be a sign of a slowly failing chip. Is the chip old/second hand?
