If I upgrade my MoBo will I be able to keep all my programs and OS?

So I have Win10 and all my games and OS on a 1Tb hard drive, If I were to upgrade from a Asus M5A97 LE R2.0 to a MSI 970a SLI Krait Edition ( still keeping the same AMD FX-6300 and 8Gb of RAM ) would I be able to keep everything in my hard drive including my OS without having to reinstall/backup anything?

yes i would believe so but am not totaly sure all of your files you want should be stored in your HDD it is always wise though to have backup files in case anything did happen and your HDD gets corruptted or fails

i believe he already has windows installed on the HDD and you you created a disk partion just for windows to go on and the outher files on a seperate partition i belive windows would only reformat the partition designated for windows
