Hi guys,

I have just brought few upgrades for my computer and one of those upgrades was a water cooling (i100GTX). I wanted to get some use from the cooling so I said I would go try overclocking the CPU. Read about people going as far as 4.5-4.6. With the water cooling I thought that I would get that without the problem but I cant quite get it.

I think my motherboard wont completely let me overclock the processor as the CPU clock ratio in the BIOS has a max of x39.

This is my complete rig: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/dzpChM

Really have no idea what to do new to try achieve anything close to what it can.

Any suggestions are welcomed.

Thanks for your help.

So it seems to me that's as high that board will hit with that chip. Look around for the BUS speed (defaulted at 100) and edit that.

For example lets say your bus speed is set to 200 and set the multiplier to 20 your clock would be 4.0 GHz. just play around and edit away until you find the processors stable numbers.
