Hi,

I'm looking to upgrade to a faster wireless network adapter for my PC that i mostly use for gaming, and an ethernet cable connection is NOT possible. Right now I use this old D-link USB one (http://www.dlink.com/uk/en/support/product/dwl-g122-wireless-g-usb-dongle) and I have to say it's done the job fine, giving me a stable, low ping and I have no complaints about it.

However, Ive just upgraded my Internet to Fibre Optic and now have a much faster internet speed, that this old adapter can not take full advantage of (I get a max of 22MB/s down when using it according to speed tests). My new router is the BT HomeHub 5 (http://www.shop.bt.com/products/bt-home-hub-5-90RY.html) and one adapter Ive come across that seems well received is this (http://www.amazon.com/TP-LINK-TL-WDN4800-Wireless-Express-Low-profile/dp/B007GMPZ0A).

Effectively I'd like to ask if anyone had any suggestions for new network adapters and whether the new network adapter I posted above is any good and if it would work with my router. I also saw a post talking about a 'wireless ethernet bridge' but didnt fully understand all the terminology used as although I'm pretty knowledgeable about PC hardware, wireless internet shizzle is a dark area for me.

Thanks,
Gavin
