Hello!

I'm running into this strange issue where my dual monitors will both look perfectly in sync upon startup and BIOS but as soon as Windows starts to load the one connected to the VGA port offsets itself and doesn't show completely on the screen, just shows the entire right side as a thick black line. My hardware is as follows:

Mother Board: MSI Z97 Gaming 5
Processor: Intel Core i5-4690k
RAM: 16g EVGA DDR3
Monitors: EVGA Interview Dual monitor kit

I'm using the built in graphics. One of the monitors is plugged into the VGA port, the other is in the DVI port. I've played around with every setting I could find, uninstalled and reinstalled the driver but have been SOL so far. Any more suggestions? The OS is Windows 7 64-bit Professional.

Solution
The issue is with your monitor: there should be a button or setting on your monitor labeled something like "auto." Hit this and it will fit the signal it is receiving to the screen.
An even better solution would be to use your HDMI port as a second digital output. Digital outputs don't have the issue of needing to be adjusted.
