PC got knocked over, need help

My FPS in CS:GO was around 250 before, now I get ~110 and what seems like MASSIVE screen tearing. The FPS feels like it's 30 with all the tearing. I guess what I really want to know is, do I need to get a new GPU? I really don't want to because it's very expensive, but please tell me if I do.


Specs: i5-4440, R9 290

I actually figured it out, and a cord from the CPU fan had gotten into it, so it wasn't running. I don't know how my PC even turned on without that running, but it must have been that since it worked.

I'm glad you found the problem :) I guess it was a mix of slight heat dissipation by the heatsink without the fan and the CPU thermal throttling that let it continue running.
