Hi actually I'm quite technically adept but I'm stumped at this point.
After I switched from windows7 to windows10 I noticed some strange freezes in Counter-Strike Global Offensive. It looks pretty much like that https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sctMu3JyHo4
I already disabled some BIOS settings like EIST, C1E, Turbo Boost and set everything in the OS to performance but the issue remains. I also verified game data and even reinstalled the game.

I didn't install a chipset diver since my mainboard manufacturer doesn't provide one but the standard driver coming from windows 10 seem to work flawlessly. The installed graphics driver comes from the AMD website and is the first one with full windows 10 support. Here is the thing, as a sound driver I installed the Windows 8 driver which seem to work. Atleast I hear something and didn't get any errors. I also tried a custon driver from http://maxedtech.com/asus-xonar-unified-drivers/ with alleged Windows 10 support. Both works but the freezes are still there.
I tried to log some audio lags with LatencyMon but can't really interpret it.

Here is what I think could cause the freezes:
-Any application or service in Windows 10 (hard page faults)
-The windows 8 sound card driver
-My steelseries Xai mouse (will test it soon)
-My HDD where I installed csgo

Did anyone ever had this problem or even solved it? I would be grateful for any advices how to fix this or how to isolate the problem.

ok seems I found the solution myself it was the HDD. I installed csgo in my SSD and no freezes anymore. Wow that's crazy since my hdd didn't heve false sectors or something. I even defraged it 2 days ago.
