New Macbook Pro 2015, with Yosemite. Already own Win7 bootcamp on old MBP. Stupid OSX wants Win8.1 or greater. So... need to get Win7 on this new MBP.

Right off, Bootcamp will not proceed if it doesn't detect Win8. Can't find a work around on that one. I did trick it into partitioning and formatting a Bootcamp partition, but that's about it.

I tried rEfit/Refind to try to boot from a windows bootable USB, but that failed with an untyped error (though it did see the USB and recognize something bootable was on it, it just throw an error and not do anything).

I tried using Disk Utility to make a copy of the Windows partition on the old computer and move that, but I get a DU "resource busy, cannot change partition type". Tried every partition type there is (exFat, FAT, NTFS).

At every step I've researched other people's methods, but nobody has overcome these errors. Some people *seem* to have not gotten the DU error and could recreate the partition from a .dmg or could get to the windows .iso via USB, but I'm not sure this was on the newer 2015's.

Any help is appreciated :(
