I just got a new build and for some reason I can't get my Video Card to work.

The first time I installed the Nvidia drivers 355.60 and it worked for about 10 seconds after I restarted the computer. Then it reverted into the Generic Display (I have no integrated graphics card on the board so I'm not sure what exactly it is using.) and I haven't been able to access it since.
Every time I try to install the drivers, after I restart the computer the screen disconnects right after the bios, after which I have to do a system restore.
I've:
- cleaning the CMOS on the motherboard
- re-installed windows
- tried other versions of the drivers
- change the graphics card from port
- try to enable hidden hardware in Device Manager
- Update drivers and BIOS on motherboard.

The GPU light turns on, and the fans turn on for the first seconds the computer's booting (which seems to be a normal thing).
I've looked for a potential NVIDIA driver (for driver compatibilty) but there aren't any installed.
I have no other desktop on which to test my GPU and I'm sure I've plugged in the power to the GPU. The motherboard recognizes the GPU on the BIOS setup.

HELP!!! I really don't know what my next step is :( and really need this to be running ASAP, incredibly backed up on work already.

Thanks in advance for taking your time to read/help me :)

Lets start from the beginnning. Did you connect both 6pin connectors or just one ? a common mistake is using just 1 connector. The card gets enough power for logo and fans but not enough for working properly.

Hey :)

I connected the 6pin + 8pin (which is kind of a 6+2 connector)
