Hello, recently I was playing off world trading company for about 15-20 minutes when suddenly my computer had shut down out of the blue. After turning my computer back on I realized this was due to my CPU (AMD-8350) overheating. My question is, should I be worried about this causing any permanent damage to the CPU or any other components. Also, my CPU almost never goes above 45 Celsius and I would assume it auto shutdown at about 80 or 90 Celsius probably after trying to throttle for 20 minutes.

Yes i would say it can become a worrying problem if left unsorted and will if it continues to happen dammage the silicon cores i would advise creating a warning in your bios set to about 60-70*c and or i would advise getting a greater cooling system if it only comes with stock.
kind regards Ash.

Thank you for your reply, would you think it would cause any permanent damage though from this one instance? I use speed fan manually to control my cooling and I got distracted so it only happened this one time. Also I already have water cooling, just my fans weren't running fast enough on the radiator.
