A relative brought me his computer that doesn’t boot. It is a Windows XP SP3 computer.
It restarts after the Windows XP black loading screen, resulting in a reboot loop. It is possible to enter safe mode.

I disabled “automatic restart on system failure”, and now I get a BSOD with the following error:
BAD_POOL_CALLER
STOP: 0x000000C2 (0x00000050, 0xE18C900, 0x000008C9, 0x0A000000)
I have tried changing RAM, graphics card, floppy and CD drives, but the error still appears.
I also tried chkdsk, chkdsk /p and chkdsk /r in safe mode, and it appears to be correct.

I don’t know what else to try, as there is no new component that could cause the problem.

Thanks!
